Golden Globe Awards 2014: DiCaprio wins Best Actor, Blanchett Best Actress

Beverly Hills, Jan 12: Leonardo DiCaprio has won the Golden Globe for best actor in a comedy or musical for ’The Wolf of Wall Street.’ Best actress in a motion picture, drama went to Cate Blanchett for ’Blue Jasmine’.

The other nominees Sunday night for Best Actor in comedy or musical were Christian Bale, "American Hustle"; Bruce Dern, "Nebraska"; Oscar Isaac, "Inside Llewyn Davis"; and Joaquin Phoenix, "Her."

 

 

While the Best Actress in a drama nominees included Sandra Bullock, "Gravity"; Judi Dench, "Philomena"; Emma Thompson, "Saving Mr. Banks"; and Kate Winslet, "Labor Day."

The 71st annual Golden Globes are airing live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel, with hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
