Google search results shows Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan, as ’Bad Chief Minister of India’

Jan 08, 2019: In a major embarrassment for Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, the CPI(M) leader’s name is shown by Google on searching for ’Bad Chief Minister of India’. The phrase was searched as many as 20,000 times in a day on Monday, revealed Google Trends.

 

While the manner in which the search engine algorithm functions is complex, one of the reasons why his name is being thronged up on searching ’Bad Chief Minister of India’ is due to the negative publicity he has received over the Sabarimala temple row.

Pinarayi Vijayan Defends Women Entering Temple, Says ‘They Didn’t Land in Chopper’.

Scores of netizens have vented their anger against Vijayan, blaming him for the chaos prevalent in the temple town. The decision by his government to implement a recent Supreme Court ruling allowing the entry of women in menstruating age inside the Lord Ayyappa shrine is the "source of a conflict", said several commentators on social media.
