Ahmedabad, Nov 7: Hitting below the belt and using crass language is become the hallmark of Indian politicians. With Assembly elections in Gujarat approaching, the state is now witnessing such instances. The latest to use such language is Congress President Arjun Modvadia who has compared Chief Minister Narendra Modi to a monkey.

Arjun Modvadia

Modvadia, who is the Congress face in Gujarat, without taking Modi’s name said that some people have been bitten by dogs and they keep on taking Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s name at regular intervals. He said such people are dreaming of becoming the prime minister of the country.

Modvadia went on to equate Manmohan Singh with a lion and said that a monkey sitting on the top of a tree is trying to challenge the lion while speaking at a rally on Tuesday in Junagarh.

He went on to say that a Nobel Prize for telling lies should be constituted and given to Modi. He claimed that Modi had announced packages worth crores for Gujarat but it has not been mentioned in the state budget.
