BANGALORE: Former Chief Minister and JD(S) State President HD Kumaraswamy who met State Governor HR Bharadwaj on Friday has feared that the dissidence in the ruling party leading to political instability was hampering flood relief works, even as the state was slowly recovering from thr recent deluge.
Later speaking to pressmen, HDK charged the government of failing to meet the needs of the flood hit people. He even pointed out that officials responsible for providing relief and rehabilitaton to the flood affected are transferred, futher hitting hard the relief works.
On a question on entering into an alliance with the BJP again, Kumaraswamy dubbed such reports as mere rumours. He made it cear that the party had no intentions of extending support to the BJP. He further said he wanted the present government to last its full five year term.
