High Court quashes FIR over money-laundering case against state BJP president B Y Vijayendra

Bengaluru, December 17, 2024: The High Court of Karnataka on Tuesday quashed an FIR registered against then Vice President and now BJP State President B Y Vijayendra, who was accused of allegedly extorting money under the guise of electoral bonds, as per a report by ANI.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is a co-accused in the case along with others. The court had stayed a probe against the Union Finance Minister related to this case on September 30.
