India logs 3,545 new Covid-19 cases, 27 more deaths

New Delhi, May 06, 2022: India’s daily Covid-19 cases continued its uptick trend on Friday as the nation reported 3,545 new Covid-19 infections and 27 more deaths, according to the Union Health Ministry data.

 

On Thursday, the nation logged 3,275 new coronavirus infections in a day.

The active caseload now stands at 19,688, while the death toll is at 5,24,002.
