India logs 42,625 Covid cases; 562 deaths in 24 hours

New Delhi, Aug 04, 2021: India has registered 42,625 new Covid cases and 562 fatalities in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry data on Wednesday.

 

India’s active caseload stands at 4,10,353. In the last 24 hours, active cases have increased by 5,395.

A total of 36,668 patients recovered in the last 24 hours, which brings the total recoveries to 3,09,33,022 across the country.
