India reports 11,109 new Covid cases in last 24 hours; active caseload stands at 49,622

New Delhi, April 14, 2023: India reported 11,109 new Covid-19 cases on Friday, the highest in over seven months, according to the Union Health Ministry. The active caseload in the country stood at 49,622.

 

The daily positivity rate was recorded at 5.01 per cent while the weekly positivity rate is at 4.29 per cent.

With 29 deaths, total death toll stands at 5,31,064.
