India reports 11,919 new Covid-19 cases, 470 deaths in 24 hours

New Delhi, Nov 18, 2021: India has reported 11,919 new cases, 11,242 recoveries and 470 deaths in the last 24 hours.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the active caseload stands at 1,28,762.

 

Of the 11,919 Covid-19 cases, 6,849 new cases, 6,046 recoveries and 61 deaths were reported in Kerala.

An increase of 207 cases in the active Covid-19 caseload was recorded in a span of 24 hours.

The daily positivity rate was recorded at 0.97 per cent. It has been less than two per cent for 45 consecutive days.

The weekly positivity rate was recorded at 0.94 per cent. It has been below two per cent for the last 55 days, according to the health ministry.

The total number of vaccine doses administered in the country under the nationwide vaccination drive has exceeded 114.46 crore.
