India’s daily Covid-19 cases less than 20,000 for first time in 6 months

New Delhi, Sep 28, 2021: India registered 18,795 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, 27.8 per cent lower than what was recorded on Monday, according to the latest data released by the Union Health Ministry.

 

The number of cases has gone below 20,000 for the first time in the last six months.

With the fresh Covid-19 cases, the total caseload in the country touched 3,36,97,581.

As of 8 am on Tuesday, India’s active caseload stood at 2,92,206. In the last 24 hours, active cases declined by 7.414, the health ministry said.
