New Delhi, Mar 02, 2022: A second Indian student died in Ukraine. The student was from Punjab. He suffered a stroke. He was in hospital for quite sometime.
Meanwhile, the Indian embassy in Ukraine has issued an urgent advisory asking all its citizens to leave Kharkiv immediately. Under all circumstances, they must reach Pesochin, Babaye and Bezlyudovka settlements, the embassy said.
On Tuesday, an Indian student was killed in shelling in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, the Ministry of External Affairs confirmed.
“With profound sorrow we confirm that an Indian student lost his life in shelling in Kharkiv this morning. The Ministry is in touch with his family. We convey our deepest condolences to the family,” the ministry said in a tweet.
