J&K: Teacher beats class 2 student with stick for shouting in class, arrested

Kupwara, Aug 10, 2015: A private school teacher in Kupwara’s Handwara area in Jammu and Kashmir has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a class 2 student.

 

The 8-year-old student has marks all over his back after he was allegedly beaten up with a stick. The teacher got annoyed with the student for shouting in class.

The teacher has been booked for charges under the Juvenile Justice Act after the parents approached the police.
