JD(S) reveals candidates for Lok Sabha polls

Bengaluru, March 30, 2024: JD(S), an ally within the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance, unveiled its chosen contenders for the three Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka on Friday.

As anticipated, former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy, who currently serves as the Channapatna MLA, will be competing in the Mandya constituency.

 

M. Mallesh Babu has been named as the nominee for the Kolar seat, which is reserved for Scheduled Castes.

It’s worth noting that Mallesh Babu faced defeat to the Congress candidate in both the 2018 and 2023 elections in the Bangarapet constituency.

The current MP Prajwal Revanna will seek re-election from the Hassan Lok Sabha constituency.
