Bengaluru, Jun 29, 2018 : In a sudden development, around eight MLAs and one Member of Parliament (MP) and many former MLAs rushed to Dakshina Kannada on Wednesday, where former CM Siddaramaiah is undergoing naturopathy treatment for over a week now.
This comes at a time when a Siddaramaiah was seen expressing his reservations over the budget that present Chief Minister Kumaraswamy is set to table it on July 5th.
Many MLAs flew to Mangalore and then traveled to Dharamasthala and met Siddaramaiah around 2pm.
Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi, MLAs Nagendra, Narayan Rao, Prata gouda Patil, Seemanth Patil, Basanagouda Daddal and MP BV Naik met the former chief minister.
MLA Narayan Rao said, "We just came to visit our leader to check on his health. He’s here taking treatment for two weeks now. No crack or anything in the party. Who else will meet our leader if not us?"
According to sources, MLAs rushed to meet Siddaramaiah to lobby for the remaining cabinet berths and post of chairman of many corporations.
All MLAs are set to return on Wednesday late night while Siddaramaiah will be back in Bangalore on Thursday night.
