Bengaluru, May 13, 2024: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board, KSEAB, has announced the schedule for the Karnataka SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) Exam 2. According to an official notification, the examinations are scheduled to take place from June 7 to June 14, 2024, and will be conducted in the traditional pen-and-paper mode.

The notification directs District Deputy Directors (Administration) to make sure that all high school head teachers in their district get the SSLC Exam 2 schedule from the Board’s official website, kseeb.karnataka.gov.in. They are then instructed to promptly publish this schedule on their school notice boards and inform all students about the upcoming examination dates.

Notably, KSEAB has implemented a new education policy for the academic year 2023–2024. This policy replaces the traditional supplementary examinations with three distinct exams: exam 1, exam 2, and exam 3. All three exams will have a duration of 3 hours and 15 minutes.

This move aims to ease exam stress for students. Under the previous system, if students failed the main exam, they had the option to take a supplementary exam. However, with the new policy, they can retain their highest scores from all three exams.
