Karnataka student slits girlfriend’s throat over argument, taken into custody

Hassan, Nov 17, 2023: A 23-year-old man was taken into custody after he allegedly murdered a 21-year-old woman in Karnataka. The incident took place in the Hassan district of the state, where the accused and the victim entered into an argument.

 

The accused, identified as Tejas, and the victim studied at an engineering college and were in a relationship.

Both engaged in frequent fights and arguments, which allegedly prompted the accused to kill the woman.

Under the pretext of discussing their issues, Tejas took the victim to a secluded place and killed her by slitting her throat.

Police said he was taken into custody and further investigations into the case were on.
