Kashmiri singer Aadil Gurezi kicked out of Mumbai home after Article 370 abrogation

Srinagar, Sep 09, 2019 : Kashmiri singer Aadil Gurezi, who worked and lived in Mumbai, was recently denied to stay at the rented house that he lived in Mumbai and according to him it was because of abrogation of Article 370, IndiaToday reported.

Aadil was at his home near LOC in Gurez area of Bandipora District in North Kashmir on the day when Article 370 was abrogated on August 5, 2019.

According to Aadil, he faced a lot of problems in reaching back to Mumbai. But when he finally managed to come back to Mumbai on September 5, he was not allowed to stay at his rented house.

Aadil also revealed that when he was going to his flat on September 5, his landlord asked him to vacate the flat.

It was when Mumbai Police finally intervened and helped Aadil, that he was allowed to stay in his rented room. But according to the popular singer, people and friends are still not accepting him. He recently appealed for support.

Aadil, who hails from Kashmir, became an internet singing sensation recently and his videos are being watched by millions on YouTube. He gave a new direction, shape and style to Kashmiri Music and is very popular among youth in Kashmir.
