MBBS student battling for life after being set on fire

Bangalore, Nov 14, 2013: A 22-year-old MBBS student, Kameshwar, is battling for life in Kolar in Karnataka after being set on fire. He has been shifted to St Johns hospital in Bangalore and has suffered 60 per cent burns.

Kameshwar is a student from Hyderabad and was studying at Devraj URS Medical College in Karnataka. He was allegedly attacked by chain snatchers.

According to the police, Kameshwar was taking a walk near his rented accommodation when he was attacked around 10 pm on Wednesday night. He apparently told passersby that he was attacked for not acceding to chain snatchers’ attempt.

Kameshwar is still in the ICU and not conscious.
