MP minister kicks 10-year-old boy

Bhopal, Nov 2, 2015, DHNS:Madhya Pradesh Animal Husbandry Minister Kusum Mehdele landed in a controversy after a footage showing her kicking a boy was aired on TV channels.

The incident took place on the premises of Panna district bus stand, where she had come to participate in the “Swacch Abhiyan” on the occasion of the  state’s 60th foundation day on Sunday afternoon. According to sources, the incident took place after the completion of the programme when the minister started walking towards her car.

As she came near her car, the 10-year-old boy approached her and begged for some financial help and bowed his head towards her feet. The minister, also the local legislator, used her left foot to push away the head of the boy and got inside her car.

After she got inside her car, an official, believed to be a staff of the minister, intervened and dragged the boy away. The incident created a sensation with news channels flashing the video footage.
