Madras HC judge raises doubt over Jayalalithaa’s death

Dec 29, 2016: The Madras High Court on Thursday raised doubts over the death of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa while hearing a petition filed by AIADMK party member.

"Media has raised a lot of doubts, personally I also have doubts on Jayalalithaa’s death," said Justice Vaidyalingam, according to ANI reports.

At least after her death truth should be revealed, he observed.

The Justice was hearing a petition demanding enquiry into Jayalalithaa’s death.

J Jayalalithaa was admitted to hospital on September 22 and died on December 4, two days after she suffered a cardiac arrest in Chennai’s Apollo hospital.
