Kashmir, Oct 03, 2018 : According to the reports by Indian Express says , During a joint operation by the Army and the police, a major terrorist hideout was busted in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. Security forces recovered a huge quantity of arms and ammunition from the location. A defence spokesman was quoted by PTI as saying that the joint operation was busted in Mislai Bonjwah area of Kishtwar and the hideout yielded one AK-47 rifle with 450 rounds, 224 Pika ammunition, one Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL), two UBGL ammunition and one binocular.
Yet another incident, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Special Operations Group (SOG) arrested a terrorist in Baramulla region. The terrorist identified as Irshad Ahmed was apprehended and one pistol, two magazines and a hand grenade were recovered from him.
This is not first time a hideout is busted in the state, previous year in November, a terrorist hideout was busted in Baiyaru Padar Forest (Dharamkot) of Bhaderwah area of Doda district in Jammu. That time too, a huge quantity of war like stores were unearthed from the hideout of terrorists. Security forces pulled out a huge cache of war like stores comprising of arms, ammunition, equipment and logistic support items in a natural cave next to a water source.
