Man enters lion’s enclosure in Tirupati zoo to take selfie, mauled to death

Tirupati, Feb 15, 2024: A man was mauled to death by a lion after he entered its enclosure at a zoo in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati.

 

On Thursday, the man went to Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park in Tirupati. However, he flouted the rules by entering a lion’s enclosure to click a selfie.

According to eyewitnesses, as the lion pounced on the man, he tried to climb a tree to escape.

However, the lion dragged the man and killed him. The police reached the spot and registered a case.

Further investigation is underway.
