Massive fire breaks out at Kottayam Medical College in Kerala

Kottayam, Dec 18, 2021: A massive fire broke out at Kottayam Medical College in Kerala on Saturday.

No casualties have been reported so far.

 

A waste dump behind the hospital caught fire when workers were disposing of waste there.

The staff at the college managed to escape the area on time even as huge billows of smoke were seen coming out from there.

Everything, including the bags carried by the staff, was gutted in the fire.

Two fire and rescue teams reached the site and are trying to douse the fire.
