As per the visuals, a dark plume of black smoke can be seen coming out of the building.

Further details regarding the incident are awaited.

In a similar incident earlier in May, at least seven newborns died after a major fire engulfed a children’s hospital in Delhi. According to the officials, a total of 12 newborn babies were safely evacuated from the hospital.

However, after the incident made headlines, it was found that the hospital had been marred by controversy a few years ago. Dr. Naveen Khichi, the owner of the hospital, was accused of assaulting a newborn during treatment. It was also found that the hospital was unregistered.
