Medha Patkar resigns from AAP’s primary membership

New Delhi, March 28, 2015: Social activist Medha Patkar, on Saturday, resigned from the primary membership of the Aam Aadmi Party.

Earlier in the day, senior AAP leaders Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan were removed from the National Executive of the party.

A proposal to remove them was moved at the National Council meeting and was adopted with majority.

Mr. Yadav’s supporters Anand Kumar and Ajit Jha were also removed from the National Executive.
