Minor Fire in Delhi’s Shastri Bhavan

New Delhi, May 21, 2014:  A minor fire broke out on the seventh floor of Shastri Bhavan, a key government building in Delhi, this morning. Eight fire engines were rushed to the spot.

"We are yet to ascertain the reason behind the fire. No casualties have been reported so far," a fire service official told IANS. The official added that the floor has been evacuated.

Shastri Bhavan houses ministries like mines, corporate affairs and social justice.
