Miss India Australia to host Modi’s Sydney event

New Delhi, Nov 13, 2014:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be speaking in Sydney on Monday in a programme hosted by the current Miss India Australia Rashi Kapoor.

Kapoor, a graduate from Monash University, is an accountant and also the winner of the Miss India-Melbourne 2013 title.

The 22-year-old came to Australia from New Delhi after completing her 12th class and joined Monash. She was yet to turn 18 then and her father wanted to go abroad for studies. She is also a volunteer of the Art of Living organisation.

In 2013, Kapoor was also appointed as a member of the Australian Football (AFL) Focus Group.
