Missing man’s body parts found in trolley bag in Palakkad

Palakkad, May 26, 2023: A hotel owner from Malappuram named Siddique was brutally murdered in the Palakkad district of Kerala. His dismembered body parts were discovered inside a trolley bag on Attapady Ghat road. The victim had been reported missing by his son since the previous Thursday, prompting a complaint to be filed.

 

Following the missing person report, an investigation was launched into the case. Malappuram SP Sujith Das revealed that the murder occurred between May 18 and 19.

In relation to the crime, three individuals were apprehended as suspects. One of the detainees was an employee at the deceased’s hotel, and the other was a female acquaintance of the employee.

The accused individuals had fled the scene but were eventually apprehended in Chennai with the assistance of the Railway Protection Force.

Meanwhile, the deceased’s post-mortem examination is scheduled to be conducted at Kozhikode medical college.

The motive behind the murder remains unknown at this time.
