Missing scientific officer traced in prison

Chennai, June 10: A scientific officer who was missing from the Kalpakkam Atomic Power Station has been located. Near Chennai. In jail.

 

Thirty-eight-year-old VV Radhakrishnan was last seen at work a week ago on Friday. His wife, who lives in Kerala, registered him as a missing person with the Kalpakkam police which then began searching for the scientific officer.  

They traced him to the Puzhahl prison outside Chennai, where Radhakrishnan was sent after being arrested for allegedly stalking a woman on the phone. In an attempt to save himself some embarrassment, he entered jail under a false name and address. 
 
He may be suspended from work. And no doubt some tough questions await him at home as well.
