New Delhi, Apr 07, 2020: India on Monday reported 114 coronavirus deaths, with positive Covid-19 cases rising to 4,421, according to health ministry figures. Of the total numbers, there are 3,981 active cases and 325 patients have been cured or discharged. The Union Health Ministry on Monday said India is between Stage 2 and 3 of coronavirus pandemic with large number of cases being found in particular areas as to Hindustan Times.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said India has been proactive and comprehensive in its approach to fight the coronavirus outbreak. He encouraged the citizens to take a series of measures to secure themselves and help the vulnerable.
India to licence paracetamol and Hydroxychloroquine in ’appropriate quantities’ to neighbouring counties
"In view of the humanitarian aspects of Covid-19 pandemic, it has been decided that India would licence paracetamol and Hydroxychloroquine in appropriate quantities to all our neighbouring countries who are dependent on our capabilities," Ministry of External Affairs notified.
