Poll: Is Virat Kohli ’anti-national’ to have married outside India?

Madhya Pradesh, Dec 20, 2017 : A BJP MLA in Madhya Pradesh has raised a stink over Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli choosing to get married to actor Anushka Sharma outside India.

 

When Kohli has earned name and fame in the country, he should also have opted to wed in India, the MLA recently said during a heated speech. The official party line, however, is that “the MLA who made this statement has no business to question the patriotism of Virat Kohli or Anushka Sharma, it is their choice to marry where ever they wanted to get married”.

The cricketer had recently flown a large entourage of friends and close relatives to Tuscany, Italy for his ‘secret’ yet widely anticipated wedding functions.
