Bengaluru, May 01, 2024: Prajwal Revanna, JDS MP from Karnataka, who is in the middle of a massive controversy over his sex videos and faces sexual assault charges, sought seven days to appear before the Special Investigation Team to prove his case, stating that he is outside Bengaluru.
Sharing his notice to the investigation team, Prajwal said on X, "Truth will prevail soon".
Prajwal, the grandson of former Prime Minister and JDS patriarch HD Deve Gowda, allegedly fled to Frankfurt, Germany on April 26 after several obscene videos involving him went viral, creating a row.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) issued the notice to the Hassan MP and his father, HD Revanna, on Tuesday, asking them to appear before the SIT for investigation.
Prajwal’s lawyer, in his notice to the probe team, said, "...My client Mr. Prajwal Revanna was on a trip outside Bangalore and told him about the notice and he said that my client needs seven days to come to Bangalore and appear before him as per the notice."
