Pregnant Keralite nurse found dead in her Oman flat

Muscat, Apr 21, 2016: A Keralite nurse was found dead at her flat in Salalah in Muscat, reports said.

The victim has been identified as Chikku Robert (28), wife of Linson, a Changanassery native. She was five months pregnant.

Chikku and Linson had been working at a hospitalin Salalah for the past two years.

The information about the incident was received by 11.00 pm on Wednesday When Chikku did not report for her night duty, her husband went to the room and found her lying dead in a pool of blood.

A Pakistani national, who lives next door, is said to have been held in connection with the incident.Chikku was stabbed to death when she tried to resist a robbery attempt, reports suggested.

Chikku, a native of Karukutty in Angamaly, got married to Linson seven months ago.
