Rajasthan: Man flees with Audi after mimicking voice of Ashok Gehlot’s son Vaibhav

Rajasthan, Sep 05, 2019 : A history-sheeter in Rajasthan fled with an Audi from a showroom after mimicking the voice of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s son Vaibhav Gehlot. The accused has been identified as Suresh Putra Bhanwarlal Ghanchi, resident of Pali Ramdev Road. More than 30 cases of cheating have been filed against Ghanchi, Yahoo reported.

The incident happened a few days ago when the accused spoke with the owner of the Audi showroom in Jodhpur, mimicking the voice of Vaibhav Gehlot, and asked him to keep an Audi for one of his relatives who, he said, would be coming over to get it.

After speaking with the Audi showroom owner, Suresh Putra Bhanwarlal Ghanchi reached the showroom in Jodhpur and told the owner that Vaibhav Gehlot had sent him to get the car. Ghanchi also gave him a check of Rs 50 lakh and 75 thousand and left with the Audi.

The incident, however, came to light when the owner of the Audi showroom deposited the check in a bank and it bounced. When the owner informed Vaibhav Gehlot of it, the latter told him that he did not send anyone for the Audi. A complaint has been registered in the case.

Earlier on August 19, Suresh Putra Bhanwarlal Ghanchi had escaped with two vehicles from a showroom after mimicking the voice of former MLA Bhimraj Bhati.
