Ranya Rao gold smuggling case: Accused Tarun Raju remanded to 15 days of judicial custody

Bengaluru, March 14, 2025: In the ongoing Kannada actress Ranya Rao gold smuggling case, accused Tarun Raju on Friday was remanded to 15 days of judicial custody following a request from the DRI, reported ANI.

After completing DRI custody, Tarun Raju was produced before Judge Vishwanath C Gowdar, who issued the order.

Ranya Rao was arrested upon her arrival in Bengaluru from Dubai on March 3 for carrying 14.2 kg of foreign-origin gold bars worth Rs 12.56 crore.
