SSLC student ends life on exam day in Karnataka’s Yadehalli

Shivamogga, March 25, 2024: A 16-year-old student, who was slated to appear for SSLC examinations, allegedly died by suicide on Monday in Karnataka’s Yadehalli of Sagar taluk. The student ended his life by hanging himself from a fan.

The deceased was a student at Karnataka Public School, Anandpur. The police suspect that fear of examinations could be the reason behind the extreme step. A case has been registered and the investigation is under way.
