Stones pelted at Vande Bharat Express in Karnataka, windows damaged

Bengaluru, Feb 25, 2023: Two windows of the Mysuru-Chennai Vande Bharat Express were damaged when some miscreants threw stones at the train. The incident occurred today between Krishnarajapuram and Bengaluru Cantonment Railway Stations. No injuries have been reported in the attack.

 

The railway police have registered a case.

Recently, several incidents of stone pelting on Vande Bharat Express have been reported. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has registered 21 stone pelting cases in January, 2023 and 13 cases in February, 2023, in the Bengaluru division of the South Western Railway.

Similar incidents have also been reported from other parts of the country as well.
