Supreme Court issues notice to Gujarat govt over release of Bilkis Bano’s rapists

New Delhi, Aug 25, 2022: The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Gujarat government over the release of the 11 convicts in the Bilkis Bano gang rape-murder case.

 

The Supreme Court has said it has to check if there was the application of mind while granting remission to the convicts in the Bilkis Bano gang rape-murder case.
