TN moves SC; alleges Karnataka did not comply order of Cauvery water release

New Delhi, Jul 5 2017 DH News: Tamil Nadu on Wednesday approached the Supreme Court alleging that Karnataka did not fully comply with the orders to release Cauvery river water.

Tamil Nadu sought permission from a bench presided over by Justice Dipak Misra to file an application.

The state contended that it suffered shortfall of 6 TMC feet out of 22.550 TMC feet ordered by the apex court in September 2016.
