Telangana : ’Harassed’ by DSP, Sub-Inspector shoots himself dead

Telangana, Aug 17, 2016: A police Sub-Inspector hailing from Telangana’s Medak district committed suicide on Wednesday by shooting himself dead at his residence.

A team of policemen rushed him to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. "We have sent the body for post mortem examination. We are looking in to the matter," police sources said.

A suicide note found stated that he took the extreme step due to harassment by the senior officials.

"He blamed harassment by DSP and Circle Inspector in his suicide note. It is too early to comment since it’s a serious matter," he said.
