Terrorists attack police convoy in Anathnag: DSP, constable injured

Jammu, Dec 24, 2015: A police officer of DSP rank and one constable of Jammu and Kashmir police got seriously injured in terror attack in Bijbihara, Anathnag in South Kashmir.

 

Police party headed by DSP was on duty for Eid-Milad-procession (Birthday celebration  procession of Prophet Mohammed) in town when militants fired indiscriminately on police party.

Both the injured policemen have been shifted to Srinagar for treatment.

Meanwhile, security forces have cordoned area to find terrorists responsible for attack.
