As the three cars approached a village on the route, the villagers surrounded the last two cars, and began pelting rocks and stones, as a rumour spread that thieves have come to the village.

The third car in which the businessmen’s children were present, managed to escape the attack.

Big stones and rocks were hurled on both the cars smashing them up, and in the process, both the drivers Jagat Shukla and Sharma were killed.

Their bodies were found the next day, when the five scared boys came with the police. Ten villagers have been taken into custody.
