dalit 1Adding more to dishonour of girls, both of them were also watched by 40 other students. According to media reports, the incident took place on 15th March but hogged the limelight and reported to local administration yesterday only.

The said incident took place when an anti-cheating squad turned up at the Government Higher Secondary School’s examination hall and female examiners Preeti Sharma and Reshma Simaiya after suspecting that students are using short pieces of paper asked two minors to strip.

According to a report published in National newspaper, one girl has also told sub-divisional magistrate (Gadarwara) P N Yadav that when she refused to follow the examiner’s orders, one of them allegedly shouted: "Strip, or I will cut the cord of your salwar."

After the girls refused, female examiners allegedly stripped them in front of other students. Shockingly, nothing was found to support the argument that they were involved in cheating and hence permitted to leave after completing 3-hour test.

Grabbed in the cage of shock and shame, the girls couldn’t gather courage to reveal anything to anyone, but eventually on Friday, they broke down in front of their parents, who further complained the matter to the district administration.

Reportedly, the district administration has registered a complaint pertaining to the same and further asked block education officer to initiate investigation and submit report probing how and why it all happened.
