Two policemen killed after bus rams jeep near Mysuru

Mysuru, Jan 28, 2017 : Two policemen were killed after their jeep collided with a KSRTC bus at Chikkahalli near Mysuru on Saturday. The deceased have been identified as police inspector Mahesh Kumar (crime department) and constable Laxman.

 

The incident happened when Inspector Mahesh and Laxman reportedly were on their way to Suttur Jathra Mahotsava being held near Chikkahalli, Mysuru. The head-on collision killed Laxman on the spot while Mahesh succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital.

A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
