Union Minister Pralhad Joshi’s brother arrested in cheating case in Kolhapur

Belagavi, October 19, 2024: Union Food and Civil Supplies Minister Pralhad Joshi’s brother Gopal Joshi who has been accused of cheating by a JD(S) leader was arrested by Bengaluru Police at Kolhapur on Saturday.

Earlier, there were reports that Gopal Joshi has been arrested in Savadatti, but later it was confirmed by the Basaweshwar Nagar Police that he has been arrested in Kolhapur and was being taken to Bengaluru.

The Union minister on Friday had said that he had separated himself from his brother Gopal V Joshi more than three decades ago and he had no role in any financial dealings done by his brother.
