Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan passes away at 74

New Delhi, Oct 08, 2020: Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan died in the hospital today, his son Chirag tweeted. He was 74. He had undergone a heart surgery days ago at a Delhi hospital.

 

Chirag Paswan, the Lok Janshakti Party chief tweeted in Hindi minutes ago about the Consumer Affairs Minister’s death, saying: Papa, you are not in this world today but no matter where you are you will always be with me. Miss you Papa."

After Ram Vilas Paswan’s surgery on Sunday, Chirag Paswan, 37, wrote in a tweet in Hindi: "Over the last few days, my father was being treated at a hospital. Yesterday night, due to the situation that had suddenly emerged, he had to undergo a heart surgery. If required, another operation may be needed. At the time of need, I thank you all for standing by our side."
