Upendra launches new party

Bengaluru, Oct 31 2017, DH News: Kannada actor Upendra on Tuesday launched a regional party - Karnataka prajnavantha Janata party with a pledge to bring a complete change in society.

 

Donning a khakhi uniform Upendra said his party will serve as a platform for any individual who has a dream and hope to serve the people of the state.

Upendra said his party will contest from all the 224 constituencies in nexy year’s assembly polls but ruled out entering into a prepoll or postpoll alliance with any other party.

There were some theatrics at the party launch with the media being made to sit on the dias with Upendra stating the forth estate played a major in taking the ideals of KPJP to the people.
