Varanasi blast: One held at Mumbai airport

Mumbai, Dec 18: One Varanasi blast suspect has been detained at the Mumbai airport. There was a look out notice issued against his name.

The suspect - Suhaib Nadim Siddqui - was taking a Gulf-bound flight. He was detained at the immigration and handed over to local police.

 

Indian Mujahideen had claimed the blast in the Holy City that killed a two-year-old girl and left several injured.

The deafening blast at Shitla Ghat on the Ganga banks during the routine evening ’arti’ on December 7 claimed two lives and left about 30 injured.
