Woman Call Centre Employee Robbed at Gunpoint at ATM in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, May 20, 2015:  An armed man fired shots in the air and robbed a woman of money and jewellry at an ATM in Yousufguda, Hyderabad, early on Wednesday morning, the police have said.

 

The robbery took place at about 8 am, the police said. The 25-year-old woman, a call centre employee who lives in a hostel nearby, is safe, Hyderabad Police Commissioner Mahender Reddy told NDTV.

The police said the man, suspected to be armed with a 9 mm pistol, did not seem to have covered his face and they expect footage of the attack from the ATM’s close circuit TV to help identify him.
