New Delhi, Aug 08, 2019 : As a nation, as a family, we have taken a historic decision, PM Modi said on Thursday as he addressed the nation on revocation of Article 370 of the Constitution. "Such a system, due to which our siblings in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh were deprived of many rights, which was a major obstacle in their development, has been discontinued," the PM said, as to Yahoo.
Earlier during the day, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Islamabad is ready to review its decision against India if New Delhi agreed to reconsider its actions on Kashmir.
